
Friday 17th Sept. Toady, Essentially dry and settled across the whole of the United Kingdom, with light winds. A good deal of cloud drifting around, but fairly bright at times too.
Tonight, Remaining predominantly dry and partly cloudy.
Saturday 18th Sept. Today, Partly cloudy, breezy and showery in the north. Generally brighter and warmer further south with isolated light showers. Warmest in the southeast, where local heavy showers are possible late afternoon.
Sunday 19th Sept, Monday 20th Sept, Generally fine and dry through Sunday and Monday. Turning wet and windy in the far northwest on Monday. Cloudier, breezy and showery across other northern and western parts on Tuesday.

Friday 17th September. The weather was mainly dry, yet it was very overcast - the met office said that it was to be fairly bright at times, but most of the day it was actually dull and cloudy. GMTV weather said it was going to be bright during friday - yet it was overcast and dull. Therefore for Friday the Met Office was closer to predicting the correct weather.
Saturday 18th September. The weather was bright and sunny, with moderate temperatures during the morning and afternoon, but as the evening came it turned cloudy and colder. The met office said that it was going to be sunny mainly in the southeast with some risk of showers in the afternoon. GMTV weather said that Saturday was going to be heavy showers - where as it was bright and sunny with could during the evening. This too means that the Met Office were closer to predicting the correct weather.
Sunday 19th September. Met office said that it was going to be mainly fine and dry through sunday. In the early morning it was cloudy yet by the afternoon the cloud had cleared and it was bright. GMTV Weather said that on Sunday it was going to be cloudy with sunny spells - this was correct. In this case GMTV was closer to predicting the weather correctly.
Monday 20th September. The met office said it was also going to be mainly fine and dry on monday - which was true. GMTV also said that it was going to be cloudy with sunny spells on monday, it was mainly cloudy therefore the met office were closer to predicting correctly.
