This website is aimed to teach A-level and vocational students history in an interactive way. There are many ways in which this is done through text, images and videos. It includes more interesting ways of learning than just reading from a text book. It is non-profit website which is set up in order to suppliment and ensure that their learning is more interesting. It is produced with mwr and Peter Symonds college.
The navigation on this website is fairly simple and clear in order to help the ease of use for the students. On each page there are a number of ways in which you are able to navigate to the next page within the theme or navigate back to the themes themselves. At the bottom of the article there is a 'next' button and a 'previous' button which will direct you to the next article in the theme or the previous article in the theme. There is a drop down menu of all the themes where you are able to click on one and you are directed to that theme or there is an option to go back to the main ones. At the side of the article there is a menu in which you are able to click and it takes you to the next article. It gives the title of the article so you are able to pick and chose which one you wish to read. Instead of just text there are also videos instead and there are images to help explain the text and give an idea of how it would look like.
This enables the students learning to be more interesting and varied than if they were to read out of a text book.
